Reel to Reel Tension Arm Idler w/ Cherry Switch AMPEX? VTR-6 VTR-80 Brass/Alum

Tension Arm Assembly. Unknown application, it may be an Ampex VTR part from machines I scrapped many years ago. 

Brass and aluminum construction. Bearings are a bit squeaky at the tape contact idler.
